ABOUT ME
I am proud to be a wife, mother and physician. I enjoy working with the child, adolescent and college age population and families. I am of Christian Faith, and value serving patients and families from all backgrounds, religions, genders, races, ethnicities, and sexual orientations.
EXPERIENCE
I am a board certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. I specialize in treating children, teenagers and young adults with mental health concerns including ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, stress, and safety concerns. I trained at the University of Michigan and then served as medical director of ambulatory pediatric psychiatry at Henry Ford Health System for eight years before starting a private practice in Plymouth, Michigan. I believe that the patient and family should be at the center of care while utilizing evidence based practices (may include recommendations for medication and/or psychotherapy). I have been proud to be selected by my peers as a "Top Doc" by Hour Detroit Magazine.
